£2,100
Late 19th / early 20th century diamond flower head brooch, set in unmarked gold and white metal, the central claw set diamond is approx 1 carat, within a surround of eight small rose-cut diamonds with eight outer petals, each set with three graduating diamonds, largest is approx 0.50ct, 3.3cm diameter
Central stone can wobble slightly, feels like the whole setting moving rather than the stone within the claws.
The metal setting is unmarked. The stones are hand cut, varying in size and shape, some more rounded in shape and some flatter. We used a metal diamond gauge to estimate carat, but cannot be more accurate without more specific tools due to the variation in shape. One of the outer stones has a dark scratch/ inclusion that can be felt with a fingernail.
